Townhouse Gallery, Cairo, 2003

The gallery was on the ground floor and was located in an area of relatively narrow streets mostly used by pedestrians. A plywood tunnel was mounted on the window, shrinking towards the inside of the gallery. A gap at the end of the tunnel allowed one to insert one’s head and look onto the street.
